Scott,
So with all the chat about no gun signs, what about the business that takes down the signs, but tell the employees of the business that they not only can't carry but cannot even have the weapon locked in their car?

A. - If you work for the business, I would consider other employment. Your employer is putting you in harm's way. If you work where I think you work, YOU NEED A GUN! I'd say you need to work with management to alter the policy, if not book out of there and don't look back! Sometimes the employer will say bonehead things like, "We'd like to let you carry, but the insurance won't allow it." IDIOTS. My gun is my insurance... I would bet that in many of these businesses the OWNER actually does carry! He's an idiot if he doesn't!
I think business owners who own guns and carry guns and then restrict their employees from having protection are the biggest hypocrites in the world. That tells me all I need to know about them and the fact that I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AND WOULD URGE OTHERS NOT TO AS WELL. And I have NO PROBLEM with letting them know that. I personally have been responsible for over ten businesses taking their "No-Gun" signs down.
How many instances have you seen of nut cases who shoot up businesses that have that EXACT "no-gun" policy? Answer: MANY. They are shooting the place up because of law-abiding workers who do not carry. If you interviewed any of these survivors at these posted businesses or schools to a man they would say the following: "ON THE DAY THE CRAZY SHOOTER SHOWED UP I WISH I HAD A GUN BECAUSE I WAS CLOSE ENOUGH TO NEUTRALIZE HIM EASILY." Of course. Criminals never expect to be foiled. Rather, they plan to have no resistance! They do not want to get hurt or get confronted. Of course.
