I am getting sooo sick of these liberal boo-hooers in public office who ALWAYS seem to need MORE funds and whose spending is way, way over-budget.  I see the pitiful Chardon and West Geauga Schools CRYING and carrying on and "trying" to plan for more levies in November!  WG is on the ballot EVERY YEAR it seems.  They are insatiable - they are so money hungry it's CRAZY.  It's the big benefits and big salaries, STUPID.  Duh...

     But what really sticks in my craw are these Geauga County Commissioners.  I see in one of the area rags they are boo-hooing because they are ONE MILLION dollars short on the budget!  What?  FOR CHRISTSSAKESGODDAMMIT ONE OF THE GEAUGA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS USED TO BE THE COUNTY AUDITOR!  And they can't make the proper projections???!!!  What??? 

     How's come an English major like me can balance out my business with COMMON SENSE and stay spending within means year after year?  And I bet you can manage your household expenses without, say going out to buy a Ferrari on $40,000 a year!  I'm getting pretty damn sick of the "Ferraris" that are in our county budget...  Goddamn sick!  What's more, the commissioners have "some" of the county employees on a "pay freeze", but just recently granted a 3% raise to Metzembaum (god, I HATE to type that word...) employees!  WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ABOUT?  It's no wonder that this Mary Samide is on the "Most Unwanted" list of the Geauga County Constitutional Council - she is acting just like a flaming liberal!  Did she vote for Obama?  Someone please help me here...  I don't get these commissioners - one of them actually drove an ancient bookmobile to MEXI-fucking-CO!!!  And the books were in English!  So you tell me who is crazy here!  Get the strait jackets and Prozac out for them!    

     What got me burning about this was I happened to open that big piece-of-shit "Geauga Magazine" which is the most whipped and idiotic and non-representative organ of this great county and what do I see in the FIRST ARTICLE?  Answer:  The three "Mouseketeers" - the Geauga County Commissioners - IN THE LEAD FUCKING STORY - telling about how THEY GIVE ALL OF THEIR GEAUGA COUNTY EMPLOYEES $360 PER YEAR TO 'WORK OUT' IN THE GYM OF THEIR CHOICE OR GO ON A WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM!   I'm not kidding, I'm really not.  Please look at the crappy magazine and see it for yourself.

     SO HERE WE HAVE THE GEAUGA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS BOO-HOOING BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T GET ENOUGH MONEY FOR THEIR BIG FAT-ASS BUDGET (what they should do is give their budget a BIG weight-reduction!), BUT ON THE OTHER HAND HANDING OUT THOUSANDS OF OUR TAX DOLLARS FOR THEIR FAT ASS EMPLOYEES.  Unbelievable.  Look, I've been up at those county offices and I can tell you the program is NOT working...  Oh my...  Look at it this way:  People SHOULD be taking care of themselves and not showing up to work looking like a pig and not being fit.  But it's NOT the county's duty to inspire them with OUR TAX MONEY.  $360.  How many employees does the county have?  Can anyone answer that?  Times the number of employees by the $360 and get back to me.  I'd LOVE TO SEE THAT FIGURE.  Tack it onto the ONE MILLION the commissioners are short this year...  What a joke... 

     And of course how could we forget about the $3.1 million GARAGE (yes, that's right a goddamn garage) the county commissioners OK'd in February of this year?  FOLKS, THIS IS DOWNRIGHT CRAZY ISN'T IT? These bums must be thrown out.  Period.  If they ask for one more dollar or any more taxes, there is going to be a revolution by taxpayers.  Imagine building a $3.1 million GARAGE at Metz---- (I can't bear to spell the anti-gunner's name one more time) WHEN THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTY WITHOUT JOBS AND LOSING THEIR HOMES!  I just don't have the words for these people, I really don't...  What an insult to humanity...    

     Goddammit, what the hell is going on here?  I will NEVER support another county revenue stream as long as I live in this county.  The commissioners need to MAKE CUTS - start with the "exercise program" (that's soooo very unbelievable - it makes about as much sense as the Berkshire School Baord giving teachers money rewards for coming to work every day!) and then old folks home and the fancy dog pound and these stupid-ass county funded agencies that coddle all the bed-wetters who can't handle booze or drugs and all of the other excesses we just do not need.   Nearly all of these "services" should be taken care of by FAMILIES instead of dumping their responsibilities on the county or the state government.  Unbelievable...   TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN. 

     What's up with these people?   I find it INSANE that these elected officials REFUSE to tailor their budgets to their money streams.  These schools are soooo very used to having their budgets go up 10% each year, they just can't stand it when things go flat...  Same with the county.  

     Such a bunch of liars:  Remember when they county commissioners just HAD TO HAVE the new county jail?  They were saying it would solve all of the money problems when we rented each cell to the feds or other crowded jails?  Yeah right...  Just like the liars on the school board who said if we sold Claridon and Troy schools that we would be fine financially.  Liars.  Where are they now?  Hiding.  You never hear anything from these guys who threw us under the bus a decade ago...  Great guys and gals... Oh my...
