William: Those park covered bridges cost PLENTY of dough! The priorities are all out of whack here in Geauga County. I wonder why we pour so much money into parks when the county is so rural that you can go to ANY farm and see wild deer, turkeys and all manner of wildlife! In this county we are "parked" to death - we have THOUSANDS of acres of Geauga Park properties and THOUSANDS of acres of Akron Watershed properties... No wonder the taxes are so high - NOTHING IS ON THE TAX ROLLS! Ha!
I still laugh every time I drive under one of those Star War looking "covered bridges" they erected for bicycles! Ha! I never see many bikers on those paths, anyway... And the ones I do see have an Obama sticker on them and are from Cuyahoga County! Ha!
You know, William, if we JUST had MORE PARK LAND, then the GNP of all of the neighboring merchants would be so HIGH we would never have to pay taxes again! (OK, let's all upchuck now...) Oh boy... Such wishful thinking... Only a purple sky liberal could come up with shit like that... |
